Business Development Manager - Toronto F/H

FREYSSINET (7 500 employees -, a subsidiary of VINCI (a Major Construction Group), has wide expertise in construction (prestressing & stay cables) and also on repair and maintenance work.

For our subsidiary in Canada, we look for a Business Development Manager.

Freyssinet Canada is a growing company working as a sub or prime contractor in the fields of Post-Tensioning, Stay-Cable and deck construction for new Structures, as well as concrete repairs, corrosion protection and Structural Repairs, rehabilitation.

You will be responsible for managing all aspects of prospects and tenders across Canada starting from the identification of the prospects, discussion with clients or bidders, preparation of our proposal and the negotiation of the contract.

Your main tasks will be to:

  • Analyse the market and identify the new/niche markets and pursuit plans
  • Manage and retain relationships with existing and new clients, partners, suppliers
  • Attend relevant industry trade shows
  • Maintain a robust pipeline of tendering opportunities 
  • Define the strategy for bidding project (discusion with potential partners)
  • Manage the bid team to prepare technical proposal and commercial proposal
  • Enhance the coordination between partners (if any)
  • Negociate contracts

Profil :

Graduated from a Civil Engineering School, you have at least 6 years' experience in the function, including 3 years in Business Development or Bid Management.

You have a background in the fields of structural repair, and an ability to learn new technics.

You have been involved on complex or main contractor projects and have a flair and passion for marketing.

You are recognized for your charisma, relational, initiative and are a good writter.

English fluent is mandatory.

French will be a plus.
